Colorado Avalanche add 6'2 and 200 plus pound center
The Colorado Avalanche made it clear that they have every intention on once again trying to win a Stanley Cup. Earlier today the Avalanche added Brandon Duhaime from the Minnesota Wild. Now the Avalanche have once again dipped their toes into the trade market.
This time the Avalanche made the move to add 6'2 and 200+ pound center Yakov Trenin.

Trenin starts over 70% of his shifts in the defensive zone and will certainly help the Avalanche in a shutdown role as he is used to playing against some of the league's toughest players.
