Connor Bedard just returned from a broken jaw and it seems not much has changed, except the return of the bubble that continues to protect his jaw.
Tonight in one of the later games, the Carolina Hurricanes are taking on the Chicago Blackhawks and in just Bedard's third game back, he still has one thing to learn, keep your head up or you're going to get tagged. Especially when you're not expecting it. Take a look.
Bedard goes into the corner to attempt to get the puck from Hurricanes forward Sebastian Aho and while he was focuses on getting the puck off of Aho, Aho is prepared and delivers an absolutely text book reverse hit.
Bedard needs to learn to keep his head up or he'll run into some serious problems. Some of which will undoubtedly be injury related if he doesn't learn how to avoid these kinds of hits.
The good news if you're a Blackhawks fan is, Bedard popped right up and hasn't missed a shift
