The NHL will switch their authentic jerseys from Adidas to Fanatics after this season and fans were already upset about the change, but this certainly doesn't make anything better.

A fan wanted a Jack Hughes Stadium Series jersey. When they found out the jersey was out of stock, the fan contacted the support on the site. The support said that the item will not be restocked «based on the request hence the reason for the cancellation.» Everyone thought that was bizarre.

So the Devils stepped in and said that wasn't true at all.

This comes after the whole debacle over the MLB jerseys, where there are clear differences in quality. The letters on the back and the material are the main things people are upset about. Even players are saying it looks cheap and they're not excited to wear it.

However, it's one thing to mess up jersey's, logos ripping off, etc. But when you start lying to customers it's a whole different ball game. Fanatics should be ashamed of themselves for lying to a customer.

It's just another reason the NHL has made an unforgivable mistake as the product continue to suffer on and off the ice
