In a recent interview, Team Canada goaltender Jordan Binnington responded to haters after winning the 4 Nations Face-Off against Team USA.

Jordan Binnington was a big part of Team Canada's success in the final game of the 4 Nations Face-Off against Team USA.

He made crucial saves, including some spectacular ones in overtime, to give his team a chance to remain in the game.

However, many people had already given up on him after he allowed a few bad goals earlier in the tournament.

A lot of fans and experts were calling out Team Canada head coach Jon Cooper to give Adin Hill an opportunity to play in the final, but Cooper, who stated before the first game that he would trust the same goalie for the whole tournament, stayed true to his game plan.

In the end, it paid off, and Binnington got the last laugh.

In a recent interview, he had an opportunity to get back at his haters but showed great class, saying he loves feeling passion from fans.

He also opened up about how much he liked being with Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon in the day-to-day activities.

Some critics on social media said that you were going to be the reason Canada would lose, but you ended up being the reason Canada won. What do you have to say to the haters?

Not much. That's just a part of sports that I love. You know, I love getting a rise out of a crowd and the passion of the fans. They want to win, and sometimes they have their own ideas about why a team may not win.

What was your favorite thing about the tournament besides obviously playing with and against the greatest players in the world?

Seeing these guys that I didn't really know but was playing against day to day-guys like Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon-these guys are legends in the making. That was probably my favorite part. And then another aspect would be seeing Jon Cooper as a coach. Just how he orchestrates the day-to-day and goes off the cuff is really cool.

It'll be interesting to see if Team Canada decides to bring back Binnington for the Olympics in 2026.
