Playing in the National Hockey League is all about sacrifice, especially when your team is in the playoffs. It's all about how badly you want it. As a player when the playoffs begin, you have to be doing whatever it takes to win and that's exactly what Jordan Martinook did Saving a goal with a desperation, save that it'll probably never see again during game six between the New York Rangers and Carolina Hurricanes.

In the middle of the second period, The Rangers get a chance and it slides through a Frederik Andersen and just as it's about to cross the line, Martinook lays out and just gets enough of it with his stick to stop the pot from entering the net; take a look.

JORDAN MARTINOOK JUST MADE THE SAVE OF THE PLAYOFFS 😱

The Caroline Hurricanes might be down three games to two in the series, but they are doing everything they can to win, leaving everything on the ice. If they force the series to seven games and go on to eventually win it. This will be the turning point.

The game is currently in the second intermission with the hurricanes leading three to one. Not very often you see something like this, and The probability that we see it again anytime soon isn't very likely.
