Katie Gaudreau shares another heartbreaking message to her brothers
Katie Gaudreau took to Instagram to share another heartbreaking message to her brothers Johnny and Matthew
Last Friday was intended to be the best day of Katie Gaudreau's life. She was scheduled to marry her fiance and best friend Devin Joyce. However, at 8:19 pm last Thursday her world was turned upside down when both her brothers were struck and killed by an alleged drunk driver.
Katie and Devin made the choice to postpone their ceremony as the family was forced to navigated this awful situation. From planning a wedding the family must now plan a celebration of life.
Today, a week since the tragedy, Katie took to her Instagram account to share a message to her brothers.
That day.
Right in the middle of getting ready for the best day of my life the unthinkable happens that will change my life forever. I remember a week ago being in the hotel sitting with family and texting Devin about how we forgot to practice our dip. To think that was our biggest worry at this moment when in just a split second and a phone call later our lives would forever change.
Remember to tell your people you love them. I would do anything to tell my big brothers I love them one more time.
Our hearts continue to go out to Katie, the entire Gaudreau Family as they prepare for the celebration of life for both boys on Monday. The Family continues to show incredible strength throughout this horrible situation.
