While the eyes of the hockey world have been firmly on the NHL since the season began just less than a month ago, it appears hockey players haven't stopped getting involved in other sports. During Game 4 of the World Series in New York, Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Mookie Betts went up to make a catch in the crowd, and he did just that, but not before a fan in the crowd interfered before and after the catch.
Unsurprisingly, Major League Baseball don't want to stand for this type of action, with both the Yankees and the MLB issuing a statement that the fans actions will not be tolerated, banning the fans involved for the final home game of the season in Game 5.
Now, there has been another twist in the tale, as former NFL superstar Rob Gronkowski revealed the identity of the man in question, revealing him to be Austin Copobianco, who was a member of the Arizona Hockey Team during Gronk's time at the University.
Gronkowski would quickly describe him as a beauty, stating that these actions represented Capobianco's personality and passion very well, despite the disruption it caused for the game and the bad look it gave for Yankees fans.
Ultimately, this wasn't a great look for Major League Baseball, so let's all be thankful that there's very little possibility for fan interference like this in the National Hockey League.
