A spokesperson for the force said: 'Our investigation is ongoing, and our thoughts remain with Adam's family.'"
Adam Johnson was killed when he collided with Matt Petgrave in October of 2023. Petgrave's skate came up during the collision and hit Johnson in the neck. While Petgrave was arrested and granted bail, he has yet to be formally charged in the incident.
