Tony DeAngelo has still not found a home for next season yet, with the off- season ending soon and the rumours swirling he's been linked to a Western Conference Team.
There are still a handful of serviceable NHL players without a job in the league for next season. With the off-season coming to close the rumour mill has started to pick up for the players that still remain not signed.
According to NHL Trade Rumor, Tony DeAngelo could be a fit for the Edmonton Oilers as they continue to look at the market for defenders, while gaging their options Insider links Edmonton Oilers to trio of free agent defencemen.
It no surprise DeAngelo, 28, It's still on free agent market, although he has proven that he does have some offensive upside, last year with the Carolina Hurricanes he only scored 11 points In 31 NHL games. 3 of those were goals and he added 8 assists.
Not only that, but it's his off ice antics might have something to do with the fact that DeAngelo is still on the market, however with the Oilers being as desperate as they are, there could be a fit there whether fans are behind it or not.
