Breaking News - Vegas Golden Knights healthy scratches Phil Kessel
Phil Kessel has been on an incredible Iron Man Streak. He has played in absolutely every game his teams have played since October 31st, 2009. However tonight ahead of Game 5 between the Vegas Golden Knights and Winnipeg Jets, the Knights made the difficult decision to healthy scratch Kessel.
Phil Kessel is not taking warmup for LV. This would be his first missed game since Oct. 31, 2009.
This benching does not end Kessel's regular season Iron Man Streak, but will definitely not sit well with the highly competitive veteran who wants to play in every game.
