Colorado Avalanche player leaves the team with security during the night and no one seems to know where he is
The Colorado Avalanche defeated thr Seattle Kraken 6-4 to take a 2-1 series lead. Last night the Avalanche won the first ever playoff game at Climate Pledge Arena. The Avalanche did so without a big part of their lineup.
A notable absence from the Colorado lineup was forward Valerie Nichushkin. Nichushkin reportedly left the team hotel with security in the middle of the night and has not returned.
Things floating around twitter re: Nichushkin
- Could be an indefinite leave but he could be back for Game 4
- Apparently left team hotel for the Airport with a security team
- No longer in Seattle
- Agent nor team will explain further
Very strange, hope everything is ok
When Adrian Dater asked Nichushkin's agent he replied with the following:
Hopefully everything with Nichushkin is under control because this is a very concerning turn of events.
