Some concerning news out of Tampa Bay as the Lightning have to cancel a major outdoor event prior to game 6 against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
According to TSN's Chris Johnston, the Lightning were forced to cancel their watch party outside just hours before game 6 of about to begin; take a look:
The #TBLightning had to cancel a planned outdoor watch party for tonight's game because of a tornado warning here.
While it's unlikely the game is actually cancelled tonight, the warning is obviously significant enough to have to cancel the outdoor watch party and it is necessary to keep an eye on the storm system as it passes through.
In any case, a tornado warning is a significant matter and even if nothing happens tonight, it's better to be safe than sorry.
