Calgary Flames trade Elias Lindholm to Vancouver Canucks in a blockbuster deal
Before the NHL season began most fans had already written off the Vancouver Canucks. After a disappointing finish last season, it seemed as if the Canucks were bound to be a Wild Card Team at best. Instead, the Canucks currently sit tied for first place in the NHL.
With that success comes the Canucks looking to make a big splash. There's no extension in the works for Elias Lindholm as part of this Vancouver trade being worked on. He would be going as a rental at least at the outset.
