The Winnipeg Jets know star goaltender Connor Hellebuyck is sure he's not coming back to the team after his contract expires next summer and as such, he's come up in numerous trade rumours.
According to Pierre LeBrun of TSN, Hellebuyck is willing to be traded to and sign long term with the New Jersey Devils; take a look.
If the Devils have the cap space to fit his 9.5 million dollar ask next season, it would give them long term security in the goaltending position.
In order to get Hellebuyck out of Winnipeg, they have to be willing to part with what one would assume to be a prospect, a draft pick and one or two roster players to make the deal work.
If they're willing to do that, he could back stop the Devils to an eventual Stanley Cup.
