Insider reveals a potential Mitch Marner to Vegas blockbuster trade
Elliotte Friedman revealed the details of a possible Mitch Marner trade to the Vegas Golden Knights for Logan Thompson and Shea Theodore
The Toronto Maple Leafs plan to leave no stone uncovered as they explore a potential Mitch minor trade. The team is looking to move on from the star due to his lack of playoff success and the team's inability to get out of the first round yet again. While Marner holds all control with a no movement clause, it is expected that the forward will consider a change if the Maple Leafs persist.
As it always seems, the Vegas Golden Knights are once again in the conversation to acquire star player. Vegas continues with "whatever makes us best" approach and are reportedly willing to move some serious assets to get a potential trade done. Today. NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman shared details of a possible trade.

This deal would go a long way for both teams and would give the Maple Leafs both the top pairing defender they've coveted as well as a goalie to partner with Joseph Woll. Out of all the rumored trades this deal likely makes the most sense for the Maple Leafs as they look to finally fill out their roster with a proper balance.
With the draft less than two weeks away it is expected talks will begin to heat up shortly.
