Matt Dumba traded by the Arizona Coyotes
When you're looking to make a run at the Stanley Cup it's always clear, you can never have enough defenders. It appears that the Tampa Bay Lightning truly feel that's the case.
NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman revealed that the Tampa Bay Lightning have officially swung a deal to bring right handed defender, Matt Dumba to the Lightning.
Matt Dumba to TB is picking up steam
Dumba was once viewed as highly touted prospect, but the offensive side of his game never developed at the NHL level. Instead Dumba has fallen into a physical defender type role, which fits perfectly into the Lightning system.
In 58 games this season, Dumba has just 4 goals and 6 assists. He will join the Lightning and look to help them secure a playoff spot and push for another Cup.
