According to an insider, Mitch Marner's time in Toronto is coming to an end as it looks like he's being dealt to expansion team, Utah HC.
The terms of the deal have not been disclosed as of yet, but according to the report, Marner's time in Toronto is over and an official announcement will be made sometime this week.
I should preface this by saying that the reporter in question Rob Reinhart has been wrong in the past and is not a person that normally breaks hockey news nonetheless, this is something that if true, would break the hockey world.
We've seen multiple reports suggesting that Marner is either signing a contract extension with the Leafs or has no interest in doing so, leading to more trade speculation, however, this would be a major get for Utah HC.
