Sharks acquire forward Carl Grundstrom from Los Angeles Kings
The San Jose Sharks have gotten involved in some trade action for the second time in less than an hour.
In a post on X this afternoon, the Sharks shared that they've acquired forward Carl Grundstrom from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for defenceman Kyle Burroughs.

The #SJSharks have acquired Grundstrom from the Kings in exchange for Kyle Burroughs." The Sharks said.
Grundstrom, 26, appeared in 50 games for the Kings last season where he put up 12 points (eight goals, four assists), 12 penalty minutes and was a minus-two. He went point-less in five Stanley Cup Playoff games. The Umea, Sweden native is set to become an RFA with arbitration rights on July 1st.
Burroughs, 28, skated in 73 games for San Jose in 2023-24 where he put up eight points (two goals, six assists), 71 penalty minutes and was a minus-42. He has two years remaining on his contract with a cap hit of $1.1 million.
