The San Jose Sharks are a rebuilding team with very little hope in making the playoffs over the next couple of season. With that being known, rumours surrounding their captain Logan Couture have been swirling for some time. From the looks of it, the teams in on Couture are being narrowed down.
According to Bleacher Report, there are 3 teams in the running for Couture, the Nashville Predators,, Washington Capitals and Boston Bruins. All of which need scoring help; take a look.
Couture, 34, has yet to play a game this second due to injury, but did play in all 82 games for the Sharks last season in which he collected 27 goals and 40 assists for a total of 67 points.
Any of the teams listed above would benefit greatly from the added production to their lineup, it just comes down to when Couture will be yearly and ready to go and of course what each team would be willing to give up going the other way in any deal. If the Sharks are serious about parting with their captain though, they would most likely be willing to retain some of his contract.
