Michael Amadio is probably still feeling this one today. The Vegas Golden Knights forward too a very awkward fall into the boards last night following a hit by Frank Vatrano of the Anaheim Ducks.
There was no call on the play. Amadio's right leg looked like it went into ragdoll mode, while the fall caused Amadio to his his head into the boards. He had just made a pass when the hit happened.
The hit may have been some retaliation for an earlier play where Amadio got in the face of Anaheim goaltender John Gibson and gave him a crosscheck for good measure.
