John Gibson officially fed up with losing makes significant request that will alter the Ducks future
The Anaheim Ducks have been at the bottom of the National Hockey League Standings for more than a few seasons now. The one thing that's always been constant is that they have a franchise goaltender in John Gibson; however, this might not be the case for much longer.
According to Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff, Gibson has let the Ducks know he wants out of Anaheim; take a look:
John Gibson has let the Anaheim Ducks know that he's ready for a change of scenery
Gibson, 29, has been with the Ducks since 2011. Last season, Gibson went-14-31-8 with 1 shutout, a 3.99 goals against average and a .899 save percentage in 53 games played.
Gibson is coming off a down year, to be sure, but since entering the league, he has 180 wins which is second among goaltenders.
Now that he's officially put the Ducks on notice, the John Gibson watch this off-season has officially begun.
