The Boston Bruins are the best team in the National Hockey League and have been since the start of the season and with the acquisition of Tyler Bertuzzi they put themselves over the top.

The only problem with that is, when the Bruins acquired Bertuzzi, they had to put forward Taylor Hall on LTIR to make the cap space. Now Hall is reportedly ready to return and Boston doesn't have the room to activate him even though he's ready to return.

Sources say that he [Hall] feels that he is ready. The problem is the Bruins don't have the cap space to activate Taylor Hall.

Hall, 31, has played in 58 games for the Bruins this season scoring 16 goals and adding 20 assists for a total of 36 points.

Failure to activate H What do you mean all appears to be clear circumvention of the salary cap. This is yet another reason why the salary cap is one of the worst things to happen to the game of hockey. A team should be able to ice their best lineup, if the cap doesn't allow it, teams playing short-handed, without all of their best players waters down the on ice product.
