Philadelphia Flyers head coach John Tortorella's rant about diving in a game against the Boston Bruins has earned a response from the Bruins Joe Sacco

The Philadelphia Flyers overtime loss to the Boston Bruins on was overshadowed by Philly head coach Jon Tortorella's rant on diving.

In a classic John Tortorella moment, he went off on the Bruins for what he felt was embellishing plays in order to get the official's attention.

"Yeah, let me start. One thing I teach my team to do is not dive. Maybe I should start teaching them that, the way this has gone here, the way this s--t goes on, maybe I should start teaching them how to dive."

Tortorella went on to say that he teaches his team to play with honour and pride.

"That's one of the things we talk about as a team: 'We've got to play an honest game. There's no cheating, there's no embarrassing referees. You don't embarrass the referees."

Now, Boston Bruins interim head coach Joe Sacco is clapping back at Tortorella, defending his team and their style of play.

"That's not our group. That's not our team and that's not how we play. That's how I respond to that. That's not what we're about."

Joe Sacco refused to go into any further, leaving his statement to speak for itself as a response to Tortorella's comments.

The NHL has been attempting to crack down on players embellishing plays to get calls. Just recently, a member of the Edmonton Oilers received a fine from the league after getting caught diving twice.

If John Tortorella is to be believed, the NHL hasn't done enough yet in this area. Diving has become a huge topic in the NHL over the past few years, and it's unlikely to go away any time soon.
