Avs Could Be Without One Of Their Stars For Crucial Game 4
The Colorado Avalanche will be playing Game 4 against the Dallas Stars without one of their crucial pieces. Forward Valeri Nichushkin has been placed in Stage 3 of NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program.

Nichushkin missed from Jan. 13 to Mar. 7 earlier this season because he was spending time in the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program.
The 29 year old has been an absolute beast for the Avs during this playoff run, scoring 9 goals and 10 points in 8 games.
Nichushkin has been a force when in the lineup for Colorado but unfortunately, the issues the Russian native is battling away from the rink have cost him a lot of games.
