NBA hall of famer and TNT broadcaster hilariously mispronounces Sergei Bobvrosky's name
Charles Barkley has been a huge spokesperson for the National Hockey League as of late, even preferring to watch the NHL playoffs over the NBA playoffs.
That being said, he still has a long way to go if he wants to get the pronunciation of certain player names right, mainly Florida Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky; take a look:
While promoting the fact that TNT will have the rights to the Stanley Cup final for the first time, Barkley absolutely butchers Bobrovsky's name, calling him �sirjay Bobobka'
Don't get me wrong, it's great that a great from another sport is promoting the game of hockey at the highest level, but not being able to pronounce Bobrovsky's name properly is cringe inducing.
Either way, to have a prominent figure like Charles Barkley trying to champion the NHL and bring it to a wider audience is awesome, but I doubt NHL fans will let him live this one down anytime.
