New York Rangers make surprising decision and fire Gerard Gallant
It was one of the worst kept secrets in hockey. After Game 4 Gerard Gallant and his General Manager were reportedly involved in a post game screaming match. This likely marked the beginning of the end for Gallant.
Now less than a week after being eliminated from the playoffs by the New Jersey Devils, Gallant finds himself unemployed once again.
Rangers and head coach Gerard Gallant have agreed to part ways, Post has learned.
This might seem like a spur of the moment reaction, but this is a similar way to how Gallant's time in Vegas ended as well.
