Matt Rempe simply hasn't been able to control his game in the NHL, and with another hit to the head against Nashville, he may face the wrath of the league again as he continues to cause chaos and put his opponents in danger.

After taking the league by storm in 2023/24, Matt Rempe has become a major nuisance and a danger to his opponents on the ice, as he was suspended earlier this season for another brutal hit.

Unfortunately, it's now happened again, as Rempe laid an elbow right to the chin of Nashville's Nick Blankenburg, and unsurprisingly, it led to a well deserved penalty for the Rangers hulking forward, who continues to play recklessly and lead with his elbow.

Sure, Rempe is tall at 6-foot-9, but there have been plenty of players at that height in the NHL that have been able to control their physicality and most importantly their elbows, something that Rempe hasn't been able to adjust with in recent times.

In just two short years, Rempe has already been suspended four times, with the production that he brings to the New York Rangers simply not anywhere near justifiable for keeping him in the lineup, with fans calling for another suspension on social media.

Sure, fighting and standing up for your team is one thing, and playing physical is also a major positive for a team, but Rempe's actions go so far beyond that, and given the dangerous nature of the NHL as it is, there's just no need for someone out there continuing to lead with his elbows, with the NHL's Department of Player Safety very likely to been in contact with him very soon.
