Seattle Kraken decide they don't want Shane Wright back with the team
When the Seattle Kraken drafted Shane Shane Wright 4th overall in this past years draft, the expectations were high. After a year where he played in the NHL, AHL and OHL, they've finally decided what's next for the young forward.
According to NHL writer John Shannon, the Kraken have loaned Shane Wright to the Coachella Valley Fiirebirds the affiliate of the kraken, take a look
Wright, 19, played in 20 games for the Windsor Spitfires this season scoring 15 goals and 22 assists for a total of 37 points.
After having a rough early part to the season where it wasn't really his fault, the Kraken have sent him down to get more reps at the professional level. Having already played 5 games for the Firebirds in which he scored 4 goals.
It looks Seattle is finally trying to do what's right for Wright's development as a hockey player.
