While the eyes of the Maple Leafs organization is focused solely on their first round playoff series against the Tampa Bay Lightning, which begins on Tuesday night, there's a possibility that the team could be looking for a new General Manager this summer and that's certainly at the back of everyone's mind.

Kyle Dubas is set to be out of contract this summer and has already been linked to the vacant General Manager position with the Pittsburgh Penguins, which opened up when Ron Hextall was fired on Friday morning.

But according to Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff, he thinks another Canadian team could try and seek out the services of Kyle Dubas, that team being the Ottawa Senators.

"I wonder what happens with the Ottawa Senators. Like, I think that could be a team that could be a destination for Kyle Dubas, if he ends up leaving." Seravalli said.

He added, "Pierre Dorion was talking this week like he was going to be the guy, but I think there's a greater than 9 in 10 chance that he's not."

Seravalli also mentioned that Maple Leafs President Brendan Shanahan asked the team's board for a contract extension for Kyle Dubas last summer, but one wasn't granted and that move could make the 37-year-old available to all teams once Toronto's season comes to an end.
