Vancouver Canucks Insider Drops a Massive Update on JT Miller's Willingness to Play in Canada
One of the top insiders of the Vancouver Canucks has provided a massive JT Miller update when it comes to whether he wants to play in Canada or not.
What's going on with JT Miller and the Vancouver Canucks? Per Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, trade discussions between the Canucks and New York Rangers regarding a deal for Miller had been ongoing on Saturday but ultimately broke down.
In fact, it's reportedly been said that Miller himself thought he was New York-bound.
«I think there was a point on Friday where it looked like with the Rangers, it was close, and Miller was told it was close,» Friedman said.
So, why did the deal not go through if it was basically complete?
«I think they had something going with the Rangers, and I think it fell apart," Friedman said. "And I don't know. I have some theories, but I just don't have enough proof. I don't think Miller vetoed it. I just for whatever reason, I just don't think it got to the finish line.»
At this time, it's not clear if the Canucks and Rangers have re-engaged in discussions or if the negotiations are indeed dead, however, one insider connected to the game believes that negotiations for a trade are still ongoing.
JT Miller does not want to play for any more Canadian teams
It appears though that at this point, the Rangers have a better shot at landing Miller over any Canadian team, as top Canucks insider Rick Dhaliwal reported that the Canucks forward has absolutely no intention of playing for any other Canadian team.
Miller's camp made it clear he didn't want to go to another Canadian market.

Regardless of how this whole Miller trade saga plays out, we know two things. The first is that Miller will likely be playing South of the border, and the second is that a trade is likely going to happen sooner rather than later.
