Dylan McIlrath of the Washington Capitals must have had some extra caffeine before his team's game against the Vegas Golden Knights tonight. He was ready to cause some trouble right from the get go.
McIlrath absolutely steam-rolled Jonas Rondbjerg in the first period of the game. Keegan Kolesar wasn't a fan of watching his teammate get run over, and stepped up to McIlrath. He was more than happy to answer the bell.
Both got the standard five for fighting. There was no call on the hit.
