Video has circulated that shows professional hockey player Daniel Amesbury knocking out an opponent during a Rough N' Rowdy boxing match.

Daniel Amesbury is one of the toughest players in professional hockey right now, spending all of his career in the minor leagues in North America. However, Amesbury has taken a bit of a jump up the ladder, playing in the ECHL to finish the 2023-24 campaign after being suspended indefinitely by the FPHL.

Over the summer, Amesbury stepped in the boxing ring for a match as part of Rough N' Rowdy, with was founded and ran by Barstool Sports. It's safe to say that Amesbury's fighting history on the ice helped him in the ring back in June.

During his boxing match, Amesbury landed several strong blows to his opponent before knocking him out ten seconds in with a solid right to the chin. The video can be seen through the link at the bottom of this story.

With the summer winding down, Amesbury will be back on the ice soon as he's set to play in the ECHL yet again. Earlier this month, Amesbury signed with the Kansas City Mavericks, affiliate of the NHL's Seattle Kraken and AHL's Coachella Valley Firebirds.

The Mavericks seem pretty excited to have Amesbury on board for the 2024-25 season, with General Manager & Head Coach Ted O'Had saying that he loves his new signing's passion and work ethic while playing a tough, gritty style.

"We are very excited to welcome Daniel Amesbury to Mavs Country. The Kansas City faithful will love his hard-hitting style, toughness, intensity, and grit," said General Manager and Head Coach Tad O'Had. "Daniel is an excellent teammate, protector, and fan favorite who will be a great addition to our roster. He embodies the passion, work ethic, and love for the game that we value in Kansas City."
