Coming into Monday's action, the London Knights were second in the tournament with one win, while Moose Jaw was looking for their first win after losing on opening night to the host team, the Saginaw Spirit.
During the second period, frustrations boiled over as both teams were looking for an important win in the standings before the playoff round begins on later this week. London Knights forward Max McCue dropped the mitts with Moose Jaw Warriors defenceman Kalem Parker.
McCue won the fight by a landslide, but it was the TSN camera that caught everyone's attention. In recent years, TSN has had a camera on the ice at the World Juniors when goals are scored, but because fights aren't allowed at the international level, this was probably the first time that anyone has seen a fight through a camera view like this.
The London Knights would go on to win the game by a score of 5-4 to improve to 2-0-0 in the tournament, tying them with Saginaw for first place. The two OHL clubs will go head-to-head on Wednesday night, with the winner advancing to the Memorial Cup Final, while the loser will play in Friday's semi-final.
As for the Moose Jaw Warriors, they drop to 0-0-2. The winner of their game tomorrow night against the QMJHL champions, the Drummondville Voltigeurs, will determine the second semi-finalist, with the loser bowing out of the tournament.
