22 players file for salary arbitration, full list revealed
Restricted free agents in the NHL don't often have very much bargaining power. With so few teams willing to give offer sheets one of the only tools RFAs have is to file for salary arbitration. 5 pm today was the deadline for players to elect for salary arbitration.
The following 22 players elected to file today.
Arbitration hearings will begin on July 20th and run through August 4th. Teams are still able to negotiate with players who've elected for arbitration.
