4 NHL teams working hard to sign top NCAA Free Agent

The NCAA has been becoming an increasingly popular route for young players. It allows them to go to school and develop their hockey abilities. The NCAA has also begun to improve significantly from a developmental perspective, this has also created another stream of talent for NHL General Managers.
With the NHL trade deadline over, teams are now shifting and searching for additional ways to acquire talent. NCAA players represent one of the few player streams that can join a team and still be playoff eligible. It has now been revealed that at least 4 teams have been linked to top college free agent from, Bobby Trivigno.
According to Mollie Walker, of the New York Post the four teams that are considered favourites in the Trivigno Sweepstakes, they are the New York Rangers, New York Islanders, Nashville Predators, and Florida Panthers.
Trivigno, is also a former teammate of Colorado Avalanche star Cale Makar and has played the last four seasons at the University of Massachusetts and now wants to make that jump to the NHL.
Trivigno's coach from the University of Massachusetts, Greg Carvel had nothing but love for Trivigno:
Everybody can talk about Cale Makar. But the guy who will, for me, go down in history for changing this program, is Bobby Trivigno.
Trivigno, 23, is from Setauket New York, and is 5'8 and 161 pounds. In 37 games this season Trivigno scored 20 goals and 29 assists. Trivigno believes he's ready to to compete in the NHL.
