The good news for the Colorado Avalanche was they won the game 2-1, in what could be a potential Western Conference Finals series.
The bad news? That Colorado Avalanche defenceman Devon Toews was a bloody mess after inadvertently taking an elbow from Calgary Flames Elias Lindholm.
The injury occurred late in the 3rd period, and although it was completely accidental by Lindholm, Toews was left bleeding on the play but ended up returning for the final 22 seconds. Toews isn't expected to miss any additional time for the Avalanche.
