A former BCHL hockey player tragically passes away

The city of Kelowna is in mouring today, after a former BCHL forward player Parm Dhaliwal passed away this weekend.
Dhaliwal played three years for the Warriors from 2016 to 2019. Dhaliwal who was from Surrey British Columbia played for the West Kelowna Warriors.
A source stated that the Warriors forward was sadly found by the cleaning staff at the Hyatt Grand Hotel in New York City over the weekend. The cause of death was not disclosed. His passing left his family, friends and teammates deeply saddened.
Dhaliwal unfortunately had to stop playing due to concussion symptoms from a incident that happened the year before. After skating in the preseason his concussion symptoms increased and he was forced to retire from the game.
West Kelowna Warriors tweeted that Parm Dhaliwal memorial service Is set to take place over social media next Sunday August 7th 2022.
