Alex Ovechkin has been one of the most polarizing goal scorers to grace the National Hockey League in its history. On the chase for 801 at 37 years old, Ovi is as physical as ever.
Tonight, the Washington Capitals are hosting the Toronto Maple Leafs at Capital One Arena and even though he hasn't scored, his physical play sure isn't lacking.
Keep your head up, Conor Timmins, Ovi is never too far behind. Even though he hasn't scored yet tonight, he's been everywhere on ice.
Throughout, his career, those two things have been synonymous with his style of play, highlight reel goals and bond crushing hits.
Next time Conor Timmins sees him coming he'll be sure to get rid of puck a little sooner so he doesn't end up in the bench.
Who knows, maybe Ovechkin was trying to help him change because he noticed Timmins was tired.
