The Calgary Flames ultimately ended up losing to the Edmonton Oilers in the 2nd round of this years playoffs. That after looking a Stanley Cup contender for the entire season.
However, the Flames believed they could take another step forward next season, but that appears like it's getting tougher by the moment. Unfortunately for the Flames things have taken a turn for the worst. After long-time Flames forward Johnny Gaudreau shared that he's going to the free agent market another Flames player has decided to do the same.
According to Darren Dreger, Nikita Zadorov has decided to also leave the Flames and test free agency. Zadorov, 27, had 4 goals and 18 assists in 74 games last season. Zadorov made $3,750,000 million dollars last season.
