Arber Xhekaj's luck runs out, appears to dislocate his shoulder in scrap with Oilers' defenseman
Arber Xhekaj has already developed a reputation of being one of the NHL's toughest up and coming fighters. The Canadiens rookies has taken on anyone and everyone. Unfortunately that fighting spirit is what caught up to him today.
After a scrum breaks out in front of the net, Xhekaj squares off with Vincent Desharnais. After landing a couple solid shots Xhekaj tries to throw a right hand while tied up and that's when he immediately begins to grimace in pain. Xhekaj immediately drops to the ice in obvious pain and heads right to the bench.
As he leaves for the locker room Xhekaj immediately gestures towards his shoulder. Xhekaj left the game and has not returned.
