Arizona Coyotes continue to troll the Toronto Maple Leafs online
The Toronto Maple Leafs are having a rough start to the season, going to 2-2 and the hits keep coming for a team whose supposed to be cup contenders, again this year.
On Monday, October 17th, it seems like traditions never die and for the 20th year, it continued at home against the Coyotes for the Maple Leafs.
The Coyotes extended their point streak while playing in Toronto, with the last time Arizona didn't come away with at least one point coming on Oct. 17, 2002.
The Coyotes came out on top, 4 to 2 after the Maple Leafs decided to wait to show up until the 3rd period.
It was all-around bad luck as the team was booed in their own arena, and the Arizona Coyotes' social media team wasn't about to let them forget Monday either. The next Maple Leafs' game will be against the Dallas Stars, hopefully, Auston Matthews will show up to play this time around.
