Auston Matthews absolutely roasts Mitch Marner on Instagram and it's amazing
Mitch Marner and Auston Matthews have developed a strong friendship over their time in Toronto. The two have great chemistry on the ice and apparently off of it as well. After Mitch Marner's fiance posted a photo from a recent trip Marner replied.
Why don't I ever get piggy backs...
Matthews saw his opportunity and he wasted no time taking a shot at his good friend and teammate.
I honestly thought that was you at first.
With the Maple Leafs already weeks into their off-season it's clear that this off-season will be extremely important to the rest of both players careers. If the Leafs are unable to get past their 1st round curse it will likely be the end of Kyle Dubas in Toronto. Unfortunately for the Leafs nothing matters between now and next year's playoffs, because they can't break their post season curse during the regular season.
