Breaking News - Brad Treliving signs 2 veterans to professional tryouts
Brad Treliving has already had one of the best off-seasons of any General Manager in the league. He's found a way to totally revamp his entire roster after losing his two best players from last season. After rebuilding his core, Treliving has turned his attention to adding some valuable depth to his team.
Yesterday the Flames announced they'd signed veteran Cody Eakin to a professional tryout. Eakin is the embodiment of a Darryl Sutter type player, he never takes a shift off and always plays his heart out. Last season with the Buffalo Sabres, Eakin put up 12 points in 69 games.
Today Treliving announced that they're bringing back Michael Stone on a professional tryout as well. Stone player with the Flames last season only getting into 20 games. In this 20 games was very effective putting up 11 points including 5 points in 9 playoff games.
