The Los Angeles Kings are in a transitional period this season, a semi rebuild of you will trying to infuse the team with younger talent while finding a way to stay competitive and with a record of 15-12-5 holding 3rd place in the pacific division they're doing a pretty good job of that. This fiery forward will be around the team to hopefully see them rise to the top again.
According to the Kings communications Twitter account, they have signed forward Trevor Moore to a contract extension, keeping him around long term. Take a look:
The contract is a 5 year extension thst runs through the 2027-28 season and includes a cap hit of 4.2 million per year
Moore, 27, has skated in 32 games this season with LA notching 7 goals and 11 assists for a total of 18 points thus far. He's coming off a career year last year that saw him put up 48 points in 81 games.
This seems to be the going rate for an almost 50 point guy these days. Is it fair to say Kyle Dubas lost the Muzzin trade yet? I feel like this extension seals it.
