The Ottawa Senators have already had a very busy off-season. From acquiring Alex DeBrincat, trading Matt Murray and now he's dove back into the trade market. According to Hockey Insider, Elliotte Friedman the Minnesota Wild have traded goaltender Cam Talbot to the Ottawa Senators in exchange for Filip Gustavsson.
This comes after the Wild's General Manager, Bill Guerin re-signed Marc-Andre Fleury without discussing it with then number one goaltender Cam Talbot. After failed extension discussions, Guerin ultimately chose to clear Talbot's cap space.
As for the Senators they get their new number one goaltender after trading Matt Murray to the Toronto Maple Leafs last night.
Filip Gustavsson will likely back up Marc-Andre Fleury in Minnesota this season.
