Nearing the end of the first period between the Colorado Avalanche and Minnesota Wild, Ryan Hartman took a run at star defenceman Cale Makar. Makar was carrying the puck when Hartman took a run at him. It looked like Hartman may have made contact with Makar's head.
Makar clearly upset retaliated by grabbing Hartman's head and shoving it into the ice.
Makar received the only penalty on this play, a 2-minute minor for roughing. This now bring Makar's penalty minute total on the season to 16 minutes, a career high.
