Calgary Flames lands one shot victory in AHL tilt
Adam Klapka is quickly making a name for himself. The 22-year-old is a hard nosed forward who isn't afraid of dropping the gloves. Last night in an AHL game not only did Klapka drop the gloves, but he landed a one punch knockdown.
After Klapka landed a big hit in the neutral zone, he was challenged by Samuel Helenius. As the two squared off they approached one and other. As they locked up Klapka throws a massive right hand that sends Helenius to the ice.
Both players received fighting majors on the play. Klapka continues to make a big impact and it's likely only a matter of time before he gets some time on the Flames roster.
