Edmonton Oilers reporter called out after making comments about two players fathers
Mark Spector has a reputation around the Edmonton Oilers, and it's not a positive one. Last season "Spec" was pulled aside by Connor McDavid after making some inappropriate comments about the star. Spector has a reputation for finding a target and dog piling on that target with every chance he gets.
This season that target for Spector is Jesse Puljujarvi. While JP has struggled, Edmonton media has made it their mission to drive him completely out of town. During the recent Dad's trip Spector even went as far to make a comment about a moment between McDavid and Puljujarvi's fathers.
The two father's celebrating a goal attempt to high five, but unfortunately they miss. Rather than just letting it go Spector saw a chance to add on.
Brian McDavid and Jari Puljujarvi.
Even the fathers have no chemistry.
Fans quickly came to the defense of both players father's letting Spector know how they felt.
If Spec isn't careful he'll be pulled aside by McDavid again for another talking to.
