Calvin de Haan shares photos of his vandalized home
Calvin de Haan is an unrestricted free agent after completing his most recent 4-year deal with the Chicago Blackhawks. de Haan, 31, has played 10 seasons in the NHL. Recently de Haan began the construction of his new home in the Ottawa area.
Today de Haan took to Twitter to share some photos of the damage to his "forever home". While the damage isn't extensive it clearly doesn't leave a good taste in your mouth before you've even moves into your new neighborhood.
My wife and I are building our forever home and woke up to this. Minor vandalism, but still not a warm welcome to the Manotick area. If anyone knows a dick named J.Sav let us know please. Hopefully this isn't someone's child on here, I would be embarrassed if so.
Former NHLer Marc Methot has reached out to de Haan to try and offer a solution to his problem as well.
