Camera catches Shane Wright staring down Montreal Canadiens after he's selected
Shane Wright was ranked as the top available player in this year's NHL Draft. Unfortunately for Wright those projections didn't come to be. The Montreal Canadiens selected Juraj Slafkovsky 1st overall, so many expected Wright to go 2nd.
That didn't come to fruition either though. Wright actually slipped all the way to 4th, where he was selected by the Seattle Kraken. After coming up to the podium, Wright shook hands with the Commissioner. But then Wright turned and shot an angry stare at the Canadiens table that the camera captured.
The Canadiens visit the Kraken on December 6th so Wright will have an opportunity to make Kent Hughes and crew regret their decision then.
